A little about me
I’ve always had a passion for economics, finance, and understanding how numbers influence the decisions we make. I earned my undergraduate degree in Economics, with a minor in Finance and a concentration in Quantitative Economics. Along the way I had the privilege of attending classes taught by Nobel Prize winning economists Robert Solow and Thomas Schelling. More recently I earned my MBA from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business, graduating with High Honors. Apparently after spending more than two decades working with numbers, I decided I hadn’t spent quite enough time studying them!
I’m a self-proclaimed numbers guy. Give me a complicated problem with an Excel spreadsheet, and I’m a happy man. Some people do crossword puzzles for fun, I build spreadsheets. My wife has graciously accepted this. Outside of mortgages I’m an entrepreneur, real estate investor, and classically trained pianist, with a particular appreciation for Rachmaninoff and Chopin. I competed in swimming and water polo throughout high school and college, raced motorcycles for fun, and I still enjoy challenging myself through fitness and cycling. My personal best for 100-mile on a bicycle is 6 hours, 42 minutes and 38 seconds. Yes I remember the exact time. Did I mention I like numbers?
I’ve been happily married to my wonderful wife since 2017, who deserves at least some credit for keeping me grounded when I start talking about interest rates at dinner. With over two decades of mortgage lending experience, more than $1.7 billion in residential loans closed, and a strong foundation in economics and finance, I bring both experience and a genuine personal commitment to every client relationship.
