Hey there, my name is Mariah Frantz and I am the Business Development Manager for the Ross Group at Intercoastal Mortgage! I have been in the mortgage industry for almost 7 years working in a support staff role, until January 2022 when I joined The Ross Group. I started my career in retail banking in 1999 where I held various positions (Teller, Personal Banker, Office Manager for Investment Dept and Banking Center Manager) In 2016 I was given the opportunity to work in the mortgage industry where I also held various positions (Disclosure Desk Manager, Closing Coordinator, Compliance Review Specialist and Setup Dept Manager).
I am the mother of two adult daughters! My oldest (Kaylee) is a 2022 graduate from WVU and my youngest (Emily) is in her first year of college at WVU! I am also blessed to have an amazing & incredibly supportive husband (Jon) who supports me in every crazy idea that I have (I have a lot 😉) but he also keeps me grounded when I need it! We love to spend every weekend that we can camping with our three dogs (Ollie, Ellie & Winston). We also have 3 cats (Leah, Seth & Jay) we love animals, camping and exploring new places and of course the most important thing…. making memories.
I am excited to get to do what I love best and that is to meet new people! I have always been an outgoing person, I’ve never met a stranger. Hello! I am Claire Fleming the Transaction Manager for The Ross Group at Intercoastal Mortgage LLC. My time in the mortgage industry started in 2013 when I was fresh out of college looking for my first ‘grown-up’ job. I found myself at Potomac Mortgage Group LLC (later to become MVB Mortgage and then Intercoastal Mortgage LLC) working at the front desk. From there I found myself extremely interested in the mortgage process and asking for any extra work I could get my hands on to learn everything I could about this industry. Fast-forward to today, I am delighted to be with the company that I not only started my career with but allowed me to thrive and find the position and team that compliments me the most. What I love most about what we do is that we help people obtain their actual dreams in homeownership.
A little more about me… though I was born and raised through my elementary school years in Chevy Chase MD, I tell those who ask that I am from Harpers Ferry WV where my family moved, and I experienced my middle and high school years. I then attended George Mason University graduating in 2013 with my bachelor’s in psychology. GMU is where I met my now Husband, Mario. We have lived in the Fairfax/Arlington area since, recently putting roots down in Alexandria VA. We love our three ‘fur-babies’ – Leif (dog), Gwen, and Rosie (cats). What we enjoy the most on a free night is a ‘old-fashion’ competitive board game night with our friends and family.
